A first class golf course “Les Dryades”, is situated within 10kms. It has a 18-hole wooded undulating course with water hazards, practice green and putting green.

There are many lakes for fishing. Many of them need only a day permit.(carte de pêche) The nearest being only a short walk away at Vigoulant.

Other lakes you might like to try are the communal etang in Urciers - from 1st May to 24th September. 4€ maximum of three lines (14 years and over.) Under 14’s are free (single line only) must be accompanied by their parents.

Fishing in Indre

Pouligny-Notre-Dame: Plan d’eau de Ligny from 1st May to 30th September. Fishing is allowed everyday in July and August. Saturdays, Sundays and fete days in May, June and September. Cartes des Pêche: 5.50€ for the day available from the Mairie or on site.

Swimming & water sports including water skiing are available on a large man made lake complete with beaches at Sidiailles, Eguzon and Pays de 3 Lacs (the three lakes) in Creuse.

Swimming is also possible in the local indoor/outdoor heated pool at La Chatre.

For the more adventurous, ”Adventure Parcours” a treetop assault course is locally available at "Les Pierres Jaumatres" , on the outskirts of Boussac.

Many Historic chateaux and churches can be visited in the locality. Boussac, Sarzay, Culan and Valensay to name a few. The quiet roads and marked "randonee" tracks are just the thing for cycling or walking. Circuits are available from local tourist offices.

The whole area is perfect for nature and bird watching, and for the artistic there are plenty of painting/photo opportunities.
